Hope Burkett

Experience
Dr. Burkett is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Forensic Chemistry Department with subsequent employment at University of Illinois Medical Center in the Biochemical Genetics Division prior to matriculating at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in the inaugural class of 2014.
She completed her General Surgery residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in 2019. She then became Board Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons in fall of 2019 and subsequently a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in 2020. Prior to relocating to Utah, Dr. Burkett served the Biloxi, MS community as a General Surgeon concurrent with serving in a multitude of leadership roles.
During her time in Biloxi, Dr. Burkett was named one of 100 most successful women in addition to being lauded as a Top Doctor in the General Surgery discipline according to Gulf Coast Woman Magazine. Dr. Burkett in her time off she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading and spending time with her family.
